INTRODUCTION
My name is Nurshaliza Binti Mohd Shis. Born on the 5th of February 1993 in Pusat Rawatan Islam, Kuala Lumpur. I lived in Kuala Lumpur for the first 7 years of my life and moved to Terengganu when I was 8 years old and been living there since. I took diploma in TESL at UniSZA in Terengganu and now furthering my studies to B. Ed in TESL at UiTM Puncak Alam.
CLOSE TO ILLETERATE COMPUTER SKILLS
I am not sure how to rate myself in terms of computer skills, but maybe I am either geek or illiterate because I am not that good but it is not like I don’t know how to use them at all. My knowledge in software at best would be using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint just enough to help me able to do my assignments. As for the hardware, at best I know the name of some of the hardware and able to use things like hard disk, earphone, mouse and the likes. Unfortunately, I didn’t incorporate technology in any of my lesson during the practicum. It is because, I never really handle or push any buttons on the projector even when presenting assignments in class because I am afraid of pushing the wrong button that might ruin the projector and thinking that I won’t be able to afford replacing it. So, I always avoid using things that I could ruin and can’t afford to replace altogether.
IDEALS
I hope I will be able to improve on my computer skill and able to learn effective usage of technology and techniques of applying them in language learning class.
ACADEMIC EXERCISE
The title I choose for my AE is Multiple Intelligence and Learning Performance in Classroom. The reason I choose this title is to study whether students are aware of their type of multiple intelligence and made use of that knowledge to help them strategize study techniques that satisfy their Multiple Intelligence. My supervisor for AE is Dr. Siti Maftuhah Damio. I hope I can do well with my AE and able to finish them on time.
